Danielle Corona 2023

UGGGHHHH Finally I got to draw something this year! I've been very busy ever since I became a QA Tester at Visual Concepts (btw that happened), so I haven't had the time or motivation to draw since the start of 2023 apart from that Neon Panther suit I drew a while back. And of course if it wasn't obvious from my lineup of inspiration, I absolutely went and saw The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Twice even! My plan for 2023 was to give some of my characters soft reworks anyway, but the movie gave me massive amounts of inspiration in the direction these changes should go. Dana, of course, was and always will be my guinea pig for these things. I tried to redesign her outfit slightly to resemble something that she would wear in the movie, though the shirt got most of the touches done to it. Another major change was her bangs and hairline. I wanted her hair to have a bit more detail to it so it didn't look like a flat shape behind her head. I'm not quite happy with it yet, but it's a start. I'm currently rewriting Dana' lore too to better fit the cinematic universe, and I'm liking the directions it's taking(and it honestly makes more sense tbh). Later on I'll redraw Serena as well. I attempted a redesign of her head too so I might give her makeover a shot too. If you're wondering about the background: for those who watched the movie, IYKYK. :)
